How we rank

One formula ranks every tool on Rankozo. Value carries the most weight because our readers are paying.

The formula

  • Value, 40%. Price to features. We look at the cheapest paid plan, what the free plan really includes, per-user costs at small team sizes and how steep the jump is to the tier most buyers need.
  • Features, 35%. Coverage of the core job on the main paid plan, based on vendor documentation and plan comparison tables.
  • Ease of use, 25%. Setup effort and day-to-day clarity, judged from vendor guides, onboarding documentation and help resources.

Each criterion is scored 0 to 10 with one decimal. The overall score is the weighted average and sets the rank. We compared documented features and published prices; we did not run hands-on tests.

Prices

We copy prices word for word from the vendor's own pricing page as shown to US visitors, in US dollars, and record the date. If we could not see the US price, the entry says the check is pending and the tool is left out of price statistics until it is verified.

The price index

Each price index pools every tool ranked in a category. It reports the median starting price (the cheapest paid plan, verified prices above zero only), the share of tools with a permanent free plan and the cheapest paid tier. Units differ between vendors (per user, per site, per account), and the index tables show each unit.

Free and cheapest variants

Pages such as Best Free and Cheapest re-sort an existing ranking: Best Free keeps only tools with a permanent free plan, ordered by overall score, and Cheapest orders verified paid plans by starting price.

Statistics

Each figure names its publisher, links to the page and quotes the exact sentence it came from. A checker re-fetches every source and confirms the quote is still there; anything that fails is fixed or removed.
